The 1985 World Champion, Dennis Taylor, was in Lancashire over the Easter weekend supporting the Paul Hunter Foundation with their participation in Lancashire County Council's Young Peoples Services youth work projects and local initiative funding projects.

Dennis and the Paul Hunter Foundation team were in Skelmersdale, Chorley and Clayton le Dale. Chris Lovell, on behalf of the Foundation said, "Every young person played Dennis and he also presented everyone with a cue and case and because it was Easter everyone received an Easter egg". Taylor said, "To support Paul's charity is a special thing to be asked to be involved with and it's great to see so many young people playing the game Paul loved and snooker putting smiles on their faces."
