Snooker loopy brothers go potty for world record attempt at St Michael’s Snooker Club

Brothers Anthony and Nathan Hebblethwaite are cueing up for a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.

 

The duo will try to break the record for the longest singles marathon snooker match, which stands at three days.

 

Anthony, 25, and Nathan, 22, aim to play for 76 hours at St Michael’s Snooker Club, on Alverthorpe Road, from June 13 to 16. Anthony, of South Parade, Ossett, has a highest break of 141 and is a former pupil of 1986 World Snooker champion Joe Johnson. Nathan, 22, has a break of more than 70. They also need people to witnesses their record bid.
