PAUL HUNTER DAY 2016
The fifth annual Paul Hunter Day took place at the Betfred World Championship in Sheffield on Sunday April 24.
This year marked the tenth anniversary of the death of three-time Masters champion Hunter, and once again he was remembered on the middle Sunday at the Crucible. The timings were:
10am
Over 50 invited children took part in the ‘Sixty Second Challenge’ competition at Cue Zone in the Winter Garden.
12pm
Steve Davis joined the event and played the competition winner, together with George Marriot who spoke on behalf of the nominated charity at the Cue Ball.
14.30pm
Invited guests, together with the Hunter family, took their seats in the Crucible for a minute’s applause for Paul.
